ABOUT
SRS Barnehurst started in 1943 helps young girls learn how to sail, row and kayak. We teach the girls how to stay safe on water-based activates and the skills required to navigate and sail and paddel. In the winter months the crew gets involved in community action projects and other activities from sending Christmas boxes abroad to doing archery and climbing.
The girls have been given rare opportunities to sail tall ships at sea, white water-raft, learn first aid and take on survival skill challenges. As a crew we spend a lot of time together, supporting each other and becoming great friends.
